Dr. Celeste Kendrick is a general dentist from Shelby, North Carolina. A double Tar Heel, Dr. Kendrick received both a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
While in college, Dr. Kendrick served as the President of the UNC Operation Smile chapter, a non-profit that provides life-changing surgeries to children with cleft lips and/or cleft palates. She also co-founded and led UNC Exchange for Smiles, a program that sent dental students to Operation Smile Care Centers in Latin America to offer free dental care.
At 818 Dental, Dr. Kendrick’s goal is to be your partner in healthcare, providing thorough and gentle exams with the latest technology. She will create a tailored treatment plan that fits your specific needs and desires. Dr. Kendrick is dedicated to helping you achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful smile.
Dr. Kendrick relocated to the West Coast after graduation. An avid traveler, she loved exploring and seeing the many sights of California. Recently, Dr. Kendrick and her partner, Max, decided to establish roots in Durham, making the triangle their home. In their free time, they enjoy exploring different restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and playing with their dog, Bunny.
